What is your Personal Hygiene?

What happens if you don't do any exercise?

Your personal hygiene is 100% important and it influences you throughout your life. Your poor hygiene can affect your mood, your interactions with others and the way you feel about yourself. Good hygiene can boost your confidence and self-esteem and make you seem more positive and attractive to others. Good personal hygiene habits provide you with much better health, protecting you from hygiene related illness. Poor personal hygiene makes you have smelly odor and greasy skin. Practicing good body hygiene helps you feel good about yourself, which is important for your mental health as well. When it comes to your personal hygiene both your physical and mental hygiene habits matter. Mental hygiene? Well, Mental hygiene is as important as your physical hygiene. Actually speaking, your personal hygiene is the combination of both of your physical as well as mental hygiene habits. When you keep up both the mental and physical hygiene, you get more spiritually attached as well. When you are inside a body, you stand responsible for its upkeep as long as you stay inside. The body starts to control your spirit by default until you make it the other way around. Just have a look.

How to maintain physical hygiene:  You have to just follow the steps below. Physical hygiene is actually the practices you do to care for your body. It includes the habits like bathing, washing your hands, brushing your teeth and more. Trim your nails. Keep your finger and toenails trimmed as it can protect you from hang nails and infected nail beds.

Step 1: Wash your body wellWashing your hands and brushing and flossing your teeth will help keep bacteria, viruses, and illnesses at bay. Your disheveled hair and clothes, body odor, bad breath, missing teeth and the like are definitely not healthy and sometimes you have to even face some discrimination when you are not hygienic. You know what? Your body is constantly shedding skin. It will cake up and can cause illnesses if your body is not regularly washed. You are supposed to wash your hands before preparing or eating food, after going to the bathroom, after coughing or sneezing, or after handling garbage and it's so simple to do and it's so effective that it protects you from the spread of bacteria and viruses. You know what? Every day, you are likely to come into contact with millions of germs and viruses from outside. The poor hygiene can definitely jeopardize your life.

Step 2: How to wash your body:  Many of you, unfortunately, don't know how to do that. Just wet your skin before applying any soap. Apply bar soap or body wash to your body. Start from your neck and shoulders, and work your way down the length of your body. Don't forget to wash your legs and get between your toes with soap and water and wash from top to bottom. This is how you allow the soap to rinse off your skin. Focus on the parts of your body that need it the most such as under your arms, breasts, chest, Genitalia, feet etc. Make sure that you wash the skin folds and between your toes. You have to be extra gentle when you exfoliate your face and neck because the skin is extra sensitive in those areas. The quick showers you have on a regular basis make sure that you're skipping some bacteria-laden places in the body for sure. An unwashed belly button is going to collect lint or dirt and to be an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, which makes it a little smelly. Cleaning it with a cotton swab is recommended. The back of your ear is somewhat hidden and it can collect bacteria, especially because the Sebaceous glands back there secrete a sebum to keep your skin moist. But that secretion can also make it smelly if not cleaned. Bacteria can be accumulated in the areas of your tongue especially between your taste buds. Choose a fluoride free herbal toothpaste. Your toothbrush works just as well as a tongue scraper does. Try to brush your tongue too. Make sure that you clean your toes well, otherwise you are likely to develop Toe jam which is the debris that builds up between toes. Skin conditions such as Eczema, Dyshidrosis (Dyshidrotic Eczema), and Psoriasis can cause flaking skin between the toes. Make sure that you wash your feet, including all of your toes in between, with soap and water. Remember that you are likely to neglect your back when you wash the body, which can cause you to develop bacne. Make sure that you wash your back, butt and bum crack well because these areas of your skin lie trapped for long in sweaty clothes. it's pretty easy for the pores and glands in your back and butt to get clogged, which can lead to the dreaded back acne and butt acne. Actually speaking, you are supposed to brush your teeth after every meal. As it's not possible always, you at the very least, have to brush twice a day and floss daily. This can adversely affect the bacterial accumulation inside the mouth and protects you from gum diseases or tooth decay.

Step 3: Genital hygieneVaginal hygiene:  Keep your undergarments dry. You are not supposed to stay in wet clothes for long as it may lead to a vaginal yeast infection. It's mandatory that you change sanitary pads after 4-6 hours and make sure that the vagina is cleaned after intercourse. It's good if you don't use soap while washing your vagina. Avoid douching and scented feminine hygiene products. It's important to practice safe sex as well.

Penile hygiene: It's necessary that your penis or groin area is properly washed. Poor hygiene helps you form an oily, malodorous substance, called Smegma inside your foreskin, which can cause inflammation in the foreskin. It's good to use warm water to wash your penis. There's no need for you to use soap. You can choose a mild or non-perfumed soap to reduce the risk of skin irritation if needed. Men are also likely to develop yeast infections, which can lead to a condition known as Balanitis which is the inflammation of the head of the penis. Always practice safe sex.

How to maintain your Mental Hygiene: Mental hygiene is nothing but your level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. It is the state of mind when you are functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment. Mental hygiene is the practice of maintaining mental health and preventing the development of psychosis, neurosis, or other mental disorders. The way you feel, think or act is definitely reflective of your mental health. It also  determines how you handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood to the end of your life. If you don't have mental hygiene you can't keep up your physical hygiene either. It's so important. Talking about your feelings or problems to others is the best way to keep up your mental hygiene. Remember that you are a social being and never let your problems be buried deep inside. When you share it with your friends and relatives or partners, they can definitely do something for you. Your life is meant to be shared. Follow healthy diet and avoid more processed food items. You have to drink sensibly. Never wait until your thirst makes you drink water. Thirst is the last sign your body gives. Do have breathing exercises and proper hydration. Avoid excessive use of drugs, nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, and smoking. Practice meditation. Start your day with a mental cleaning process through meditation that you keep all the negativity inside deleted. Do follow your passion. Use music to change your dull or negative mood. When you build your life around the passion, you are not likely to be more stressful. Follow Time management and always find out time to get relaxed. Make life more enjoyable. Watch films. Enjoy music, and spend time together with the loved ones. Make sure that you get a good night's sleep as it makes you at your best tomorrow. Do something you're good at, always...
