Why are you jealous? Well jealousy is the distorted projection of your mind. It's the lack of proper awareness about yourself. 

What your jealousy is: You feel jealous especially when you trust the misperception given by the mind. The Mind always works through misperception. Your mind always forces you to believe what you see. Jealousy is the first person feeling you have. Jealousy is the expression of your fear, anger or insecurity. If you hold others responsible for jealousy, you are wrong as jealousy comes from within. 

Why you are jealous: When you are programed that life happens through competition, you will always have the tendency to feel jealous of the polar opposite of every single weakness you have. You feel jealous because you have programed yourself to feel that life means competition and comparison. You develop an unhealthy habit of comparing yourself with others. The problem actually lies within you. The hormone Oxytocin can also trigger your jealousy. For some people, jealousy can also be a sign of feeling doubtfully in love with a partner and it appears that your love becomes more self centric that you always feel insecure, which leads you to some weird sense of being over possessive. Know that true love never fails to bond with each other and it holds no feeling of doubt or insecurity. Actually speaking, jealousy comes out when you get your consciousness filtered heavily by your brain. You start to see people and things with total detachment and separation. You forget to see the unity around. 

How to get over jealousy: First of all, know that Creation means difference. You can see even every single leaf of a tiny plant is different from one another. Know that you are unique the way you are. And it's not  comparison or competition but cooperation is the principle behind Creation. Never put yourself in comparing mode with whoever causes your jealousy. Always reprogram yourself with positive affirmations that you are unique the way you are. Nobody can exactly be the same as you are. Lack of confidence comes out when you are totally unaware of yourself. Your true skills are lying dormant inside. Dig them up and bring them to the mainstream platform. Your passion, your knowledge and your skills have to be mainstreamed. Reaffirm yourself that you are beautiful, skilled and powerful, the way you are through a 5- minute meditation every day. And you are here, not to compete, but cooperate with others.
